The Power of Your Words

A. Five Vital Truths About Words

1. There is nothing in this earth so great or so powerful, including the physical body,
that cannot be turned around by our words. You can turn around any situation with
your words.

2. The entire course of nature (future and destiny) and the circumstances surrounding
every human being are controlled by that person’s words.

3. We don’t have a choice whether or not we live by words. We do, however, have a
choice of what words we live by.

4. If your mouth will feed your heart the word of faith when you don’t need it—your
heart will feed your mouth the word of faith when you do need it.

5. We appropriate what is ours in Christ by making God’s Word a daily part of our
vocabulary. We are to confess what we can do in Christ, who we are in Christ, and
what we have in Christ.

B. Proverbs 22:17-18 (AMP): “Listen (consent and submit) to the words of the wise, and apply
your mind to my knowledge; for it will be pleasant if you keep them in your mind [believing
them]; your lips will be accustomed to [confessing] them.”

C. Isaiah 58:13: Don’t speak your own words

D. Psalm 17:4 (AMP): “Concerning the works of men, by the word of Your lips I have avoided
the ways of the violent (the paths of the destroyer).”

100 Lessons on Prosperity: Lesson 23 - My Faith for Provision Works All the Time

Today I'm continuing on 100 Lessons on Prosperity. This is based on a series of notes and teachings as was taught on the Believer's Voice of Victory program on Trinity Broadcasting Network by Gloria Copeland & Pastor George Pearsons from Eagle Mountain International Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

For the next few weeks I'll be posting on 100 Lessons on Prosperity.

So without Further Delay:

My Faith for Provision Works All the Time
A. Galatians 6:9: “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we
faint not.”

1. AMP: “Let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing
right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen
and relax our courage and faint.”

2. A note to Pastor George:
“Thank you, Pastor George, for teaching us about reaping. We have been going back
over your first ‘10 Days of Prosperity’ on the Internet. It is really blessing us. We had
been asking the same question over and over again—‘We tithe and give, but we are
not seeing results. Why isn’t it working for us?’ After reviewing your series, we are
very encouraged! Our faith is back on track and is now working again!”

3. Many ask the same question: “Why isn’t it working for me?”

4. When they tithe and sow and don’t see results, they get discouraged, and wonder why
it doesn’t work

5. They don’t realize that their harvest is right around the faith corner

B. Hebrews 10:23, 35-36: We Must Stand Firm in Faith Until We See the Results

1. Verse 23: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is
faithful that promised).”
a. AMP: “So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we
cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is
reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.”
b. NLT: “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God
can be trusted to keep his promise.”

2. We must stay encouraged and continue to use our faith

3. Verses 35-36: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense
of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye
might receive the promise.”
a. AMP: “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a
great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast
patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the
will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what
is promised.”
b. Cast not away your boldness of speech and confession.

4. Hebrews 6:12: Be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the
promises.

5. Patience
a. Not knuckling under and hunkering down until the storm passes over
b. Maintaining your stand in spite of the circumstances
c. Being constant all the time
d. The ability to see the results before you have them

C. Proverbs 18:21: Life and Death Are in the Power of the Tongue

1. Encourage your faith by speaking life over your tithing and giving.

2. Tithe—Declare that the windows of heaven are opened over your life.

3. Seed—Declare that your giving is producing an extreme, maximum, overflowing
harvest.

4. “My faith is alive, activated and energized.”

5. “My faith for provision is working for me all the time!”
a. Luke 6:38: “I give and it is given to me!”
b. Galatians 6:7: “I reap what I sow!”
c. Psalm 112:2: “My seed is mighty upon the earth!”
